Damn You!!!! old Dirty Scott

Okay so here I go again, once more with the damn blogging bullshit. I just noticed that my beloved, introverted, doesn't like small talk (except when drunk (Except that it is actually arguing for arguing sakes)), little BRO has once again started into the blogging world since a short little vacation (MAY!!!!!). So, unlike my brother I will not make any blogging promises to maybe blog once a week or anything even close to that, but will instead to promise that I will make a short lived concerted effort to maybe, possibly make another entry before the end of next year (2007, I am very Busy). I have decided that post will include such topics as the DEMASCULINIZATION of America (that's right, I said that, and if you don't believe non-believers just try this http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=t&ie=UTF-8&rls=GWYA,GWYA:2005-52,GWYA:en&q=demasculinization), and the fact that we, as a country, have become way too sensitive to damn near everything and are frightened stiff of offending some other person or persons that now we can't have Christmas trees in the god damned airport, I mean give me a break, you have got to be kidding, Christmas trees. A little word of advice for anyone who thinks they are a true AMERICAN: Go out, rent, and watch probably my favorite movie of all time "TEAM AMERICA" the unrated version and then and only then will you know what it is like to feel true patriotism for the greatest ass kickin' country in the whole of the world. And when you are done think back to one of the greatest songs ever written on the soundtrack: "Freedom isn't free". Because it is true my friends, it is not free and we should never forget that. I know that there are alot of people in this country who think some things are free (especially Freedom) But that is far from the truth. I digress. Moving on just check back as I am collecting my thoughts and have even considered writing a book about such topics as those mentioned earlier. I love you all and I love America so I am going back to writing my new resume' so I can get the hell out of the OC. Til later see you on the flip side and get the reporters out of Iraq so our men and women who are really making the sacrifices can do there job the way it was intended and not have to be looking over there shoulder afraid of being sent to prison for fighting the war OUR representatives sent them to do.

What really Happened II

The above picture was a picture of a house that used to be here, across the road from the gulf of Mexico.

And this is the house now (actually what is left of the house)

I thought that this would be a very good example of the kind of destruction that took place on the gulf coast, not just in Louisiana, but also all along the coast.

I thought this was one of the more disturbing sights that I saw all along the Gulf Coast (don't cry Megan!!)

This is a fully furnished intact 3 bedroom house that floated in from, according to best guess, about 1/2 mile away into a wooded vacant lot

Bear in mind that these pictures represent a very, very, very small portion of the destruction that happened along our gulf coast. I was essentially assigned to a very small community named Pass Christian, MS. Also keep in mind that when I took these pictures the cleanup had already been going on for more than six months.

What really Happened!!!!!

Let's just start with me saying that MISSISSIPPI is actually a very nice place. I was quite surprised by the beauty of the place. The green foliage (as opposed to burnt here in EWA(Eastern Washington for losers from other places)) the trees, the gulf of Mexico. Aside from the occasional racist redneck it really is not that bad. But wait, there is more! When I first arrived I thought, WOW, what a beautiful place, and granted it was the whole time I was there, but a place starts to lose its beauty and appeal when, a week into the trip the weather starts to warm. Now, bear in mind that this is still the middle of April, and the temps can hit in the 90's, and I think everyone has heard of the Humidity, and yes it is as bad as they say. OK, OK, you are saying to yourself where is this going, well I will tell you. BUGS. That is right BUGS. Mosquitos that are quite large, but not even close to being as bad as the BLOOD SUCKING GNATS!!! That's right, you heard me correctly. Gnats the size of a gnat, swarming by the thousands (possibly millions) to every inch of your exposed skin. The best part being that they hurt when they do whatever it is they do to you (someone told me they spit on you with caustic saliva, but I don't know or care) and that they are not even remotely affected by bug spray, in fact as far as I could tell they were actually attracted to it. So with that said I will move on to another entry detailing (not really) my trip and some pictures of the shithole I was at.

J-E-N-N whats that spell? JENN, JENN, JENN

I realize that I am just being a copycat when I write this but I think everyone must know who this is in the picture above. Yes, I am being a copycat and she always beats me to the punch (sorry Baby) but this is my LOVE Jenn. She is always saying nice things about me (mostly true I must add) and I know that there is no way to properly give her the credit she deserves for being the beautiful, thoughtful, caring and Loving person that she is. I just hope that she knows how much I love her and how much I appreciate all the things she has done for me and helped me through. Once again I know I am copycatting and I should just say Ditto to all the nice things she said about me on her site www.jennandjeepandjake.blogspot.com but I want everyone as well as you my LOVE Jenn to know how much I care for you. I love you and I will miss you sorely in the weeks to come, but I know our love will pull us through and the sky is the limit for all of us, Love me. And no stupid comments on this one from nobody, I am being seriuos here!

Bayou Bound, where's the Gumbo?

Well it is official, I will soon be departing for the wonderful gulf coast of Mississippi (Saturday the 8th to be exact), and so it is, that since Doris continually nags me about my lack of BLOG postings (though I just started this weekend and have alot going on), and has been so kind as to give me some Ideas for my Blog (bitch anyhow) that I am going to do just as she has requested and write shit about my work (although mine will probably not be drawn out mindless jibber jabber about such things as sea shells). I hope that all will be able to follow me on this wonderful journey to the south land in search of my boyhood dreams and what ever else I may find, hopefully something like a pot of gold, or some other sort of treasure that was overlooked by the other countless thousands of government employees that have been inside and out of that country for the last 7 plus months sucking our national budget dry and running this countries defecit through the roof (I digress). At this point there is not much to say about it because I truly have no idea as to what I am in for. So I hope that I will be able to keep everyone up to date with my new found blogging skills (as long as they have computers down there) and to all a good night.

Ready, Set, Go

Here it is folks! The start of my most likely short lived BLOG (I still don't know what that means). This is for all those people out there who for some reason or another have some sort of interest in my life and possible ramblings on that I will probably partake in. I did this because it seems as though everyone else is, and I tend to be a sort of Bandwagon jumper onner type of person. I am going to start with the ones who have so inspired me to do this silly thing even though I know I will never live up to there writing skills much less there expectations from this here BLOG: Jenn my Love, Doris (my sis' in law), Scott (I have no idea why), all of my other relatives because I am sure they will want know what is going on, and of course mizzmegpie because it seems as though she thinks this is some sort of competition at which she will definately lose, and also because it is nice to have people to reply and comment on my daily ramblings and it seems as though she does for everyone else so I am hoping she does the same for me as long as she livens it up a bit. See ya on the flip side!!!!!
